Welcome to the Make A Difference Kidney Foundation!
Our founder, Cherida, understands firsthand the challenges of battling Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and the importance of having a supportive community. She realized that the most challenging aspects of PKD were preparing for dialysis and finding a community of people who had already fought the battle she was facing.
That's why she created Make A Difference Kidney Foundation, a resource hub that offers not only practical resources but also a sense of community for individuals with kidney disease and their families. Our mission is to provide a safe and understanding space for people to come together, share their stories, and receive the encouragement and support they need. We know that another person's testimony can sometimes be the one thing that gets you through another day, especially for those who are on dialysis or on the kidney transplant list, like Cherida, who was on the list for 16 months.
